Manchester City and Liverpool players may have been going head to head on the pitch at the weekend, but off it, they joined together to attend James Milner's annual charity ball.
The midfielder, who left City to join the Reds on a free transfer in the summer, hosted the 'Nightmare before Christmas' ball at EventCity in Manchester on Sunday night.
The evening, organised by the James Milner Foundation, which supports charities including Help for Heroes, Bloodwise and the NSPCC, was held one day after Liverpool sealed an emphatic 4-1 win over City at the Etihad Stadium.
Milner's current teammates Adam Lallana, Daniel Sturridge and Kolo Toure were among the guests, while City players Joe Hart, Gael Clichy and Fabian Delph also attended.
Everton midfielder Gareth Barry, who used to play with Milner at City, was also part of the festivities.
