Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has reportedly discharged himself from hospital after undergoing an operation to have his appendix removed on Saturday.
The former Borussia Dortmund boss was absent from the Anfield dugout for his side's 2-2 draw against Sunderland after being taken to hospital with a bout of appendicitis.
Klopp was expected to remain under observation after going under the knife, but according to The Mirror, the German discharged himself and has returned to his home in Formby.
It is believed that the 48-year-old is keen to get back to Melwood this week to speak to his players ahead of Tuesday night's FA Cup fourth-round replay against West Ham United at Upton Park.
On Saturday, Liverpool relinquished a 2-0 lead shortly after around 10,000 fans walked out of the stadium in the 77th minute as a protest against the club's plans to increase ticket prices next season.
