Liverpool have revealed their new away kit for the 2018-19 season.
The design marks a return to the purple colour last sported by the team six seasons ago and uses new technology designed to "keep moisture away from the skin to help keep players fresh and dry from first to final whistle".
"As a player the most important thing is how the shirt feels and performs," said Liverpool's record signing Virgil van Dijk. "This kit gives us confidence to play to the best of our ability away from home. We have the best travelling support in football and I'm excited to run out in front of our fans wearing this strip."
The purple shirt also includes the '96' emblem, encased by eternal flames, on the collar in recognition of the tragic events at Hillsborough in 1989 which saw 96 fans lose their lives.
The new kit is available to fans from today through New Balance.
