Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling has revealed that he is "finished" with social network sites Twitter and Facebook.
The 18-year-old has abruptly decided to move away from social media in order to focus on his football.
"I've deleted my Twitter and Facebook, and come off BBM (Blackberry Messenger)," Sterling told the club's official website.
"I just need to get my head down, really, and concentrate on my football, start scoring goals, stuff like that. I'm going to be more and more professional. I won't be back on there. Me and Twitter are finished!"
The likes of Rio Ferdinand, Michael Owen and Joey Barton are regular users of Twitter.
