A giant image of Luis Suarez displayed on the outside wall of Anfield has finally been removed by Liverpool following the striker's move to Barcelona.
The Uruguay international, who scored 31 Premier League goals for the Reds last season, was bought by the Spanish giants last month for a reported £75m fee.
The transfer was sanctioned after Suarez was handed a four-month ban by FIFA for biting the shoulder of Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini at the World Cup in Brazil.
Prior to his departure, an image of Suarez in a Liverpool kit was on display alongside Steven Gerrard and Philippe Coutinho, but workers have now rid Anfield of the striker.
