Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard and his teammate Daniel Sturridge have joined the growing number of famous faces taking part in the ice bucket challenge for charity.
The pair allowed ice cold water to be poured over them today following Liverpool's Premier League opening-weekend victory over Southampton at Anfield on Sunday.
Gerrard nominated Cardiff City winger Craig Noone, while Sturridge listed rapper Tinie Tempah, actor Idris Elba and singers Banks and Jessie Ware.
Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has also got involved after being nominated by Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher.
