Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has admitted that alarm bells were ringing when a doorman told him that Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini had turned up at the team's hotel prior to Saturday's encounter.
It turned out that the man who visited the team was Fellaini's brother Mansour, who posed for photos with fellow hotel guests before asking to see Eden Hazard.
"I came down in the morning and the doorman said, 'Fellaini isn't playing'," The Mirror quotes Mourinho as saying. "The doorman asked him, 'what do you want here?' He said, 'I'm Fellaini and I've come to get tickets from my friend Eden Hazard'.
"Didn't smell well for me. I go to Google on my phone and I put in Fellaini brother. The guy is the same. So I go with the pictures to the doorman. I say, 'this one or this one?' He looks, 'this one'. Fuck off, he's the brother."
Chelsea managed to seal a 1-0 win over United at Stamford Bridge.
