Chelsea full-back Ashley Cole sparked a chorus of boos from the crowd during an NBA game in London after he was shown on the big screen.
The England international was in attendance at the O2 Arena to watch the New York Knicks beat the Detriot Pistons 102-87, but when the camera picked up the defender, boos emanated from the 18,689-strong crowd.
While the announcer spoke of Cole's commitment to his national side, the comments failed to quieten the fans and the Chelsea player didn't acknowledge the boos and instead continued with his conversation.
Meanwhile, a host of Premier League talent was in attendance at the match, including Manchester United winger Nani and Aston Villa striker Darren Bent.
