The family of Manchester United star Angel di Maria are reportedly still shaken after they were the victims of an attempted burglary at their home last week.
The Argentine is understood to have been in the Prestbury property with his wife, daughter and mother-in-law when a group of thieves tried to smash the back door.
The intruders fled when the alarm system kicked in, but Spanish journalist Guillem Balague has claimed that the footballer's family are living in fear.
Balague told Norway's TV2 that despite moving to a hotel, Di Maria's family are paranoid about leaving their room due to fears that they could be attacked.
The 26-year-old signed for United from Real Madrid last summer for a £59.7m fee.
