Former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has been appointed in a 'long-term teaching position' at elite United States university Harvard.
The Ivy League university has announced that the Scotsman will be part of new programme Business of Entertainment, Media and Sports, where he will lecture senior executives from around the globe.
The 72-year-old gave a talk on his management style and experience at the university's business school in 2012.
"I'm delighted to have the opportunity and privilege to contribute to such a respected centre of excellence," said Ferguson.
"The time I have already spent at Harvard has been a stimulating experience and I look forward to developing my relationship and activities with the students, faculty and friends of the Harvard Business School community."
Ferguson, who retired from the Old Trafford helm at the end of last season following 27 illustrious years in charge, will begin teaching in May.
