Former Manchester United right-back Gary Neville has insisted that "meaningless games" do not matter after what occurred at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
Man United were due to welcome Bournemouth as one of 10 games on the final weekend of the Premier League season, but the match was abandoned for security reasons after a 'suspect package' was found in the stadium.
It has been reported that a mobile phone device attached to a toilet was responsible and a controlled explosion took place at the stadium little before 5pm UK time in Manchester.
It is thought that the match will be rescheduled for after next weekend's FA Cup final at Wembley.
