Manchester United's new signing Marcos Rojo could reportedly stand trial back in his native Argentina.
It is alleged that the 24-year-old attacked his neighbour Juan Pablo Gomez with a bottle back in 2010.
Despite the fact that the incident took place four years ago, prosecutors are still determined for the defender to appear in court, according to The People.
The report added that prosecutor Marcelo Romero is now waiting to hear back from Rojo's lawyers to see how he pleads.
If found guilty, Rojo, who joined United last week from Sporting Lisbon for £16m, could potentially be jailed for 12 months.
