Olympic gold medallist Greg Rutherford believes that he would be a better footballer for Manchester United than Jamaican sprinter and world-record holder Usain Bolt.
Bolt has been open about his desire to play for the former Premier League champions but Rutherford, who is also a United supporter, believes that he would have more of a chance of making the team if a trial were offered.
"I wouldn't mind [playing for Man Utd] at all," Rutherford told The Guardian. "My football background is a bit more extensive than Usain's, so I'd like to believe that if it came to it, I'd be a better football player than him. If there's a trial going, I wouldn't say no."
Rutherford won a gold medal in the men's long jump final at London 2012 this summer.
