Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger has admitted that he finds it difficult to understand Wayne Rooney's scouse accent.
The German World Cup winner has been playing alongside the club captain since July following his move from Bayern Munich, where he spent 17 years of his career.
In a BBC documentary, Rooney revealed that he writes poetry for his wife Coleen, and in Tuesday's press conference, Schweinsteiger was asked if the striker does anything similar for his teammates.
"I never speak about what happens in the dressing room," Schweinsteiger joked. "Sometimes I don't understand him when he speaks in his scouse accent."
Meanwhile, the United team are preparing for tonight's Champions League match against Wolfsburg.
