Former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has been honoured in an official ceremony by having a street named after him.
Sir Alex Ferguson Way, which was formerly known as Waters Reach, was unveiled near United's home ground Old Trafford, which faces Sir Matt Busby Way on the other side.
It was announced last month that the 71-year-old would be given the Honorary Freedom of the Borough of Trafford for his 26-year reign as United manager.
Ferguson was handed the honour during a formal meeting of the local council this afternoon.
