Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward has revealed that he expects the 20-time English champions to be active in this summer's transfer market.
Results released on Thursday showed that Man United's commercial revenue had risen 42.5% to £66.1m, with Woodward playing a key role in sponsorship deals, retail and merchandising.
The future of current head coach Louis van Gaal is unclear, but Woodward has sent a message to the Man United fans in terms of transfer dealings.
"I do think there'll be more activity in the summer," Woodward revealed during a conference call with investors.
Jose Mourinho continues to be linked with the managerial position at Old Trafford.
