Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton has denied reports that he was refused entry to a catwalk show during Paris Fashion Week.
The 30-year-old Brit attended numerous shows hosted by some of the world's biggest fashion designers during a break in the F1 calendar.
Reports emerged claiming that he and singer Janelle Monae were turned away from Stella McCartney's show, but the sportsman has refuted the rumours.
"There was some nonsense I saw reported somewhere about me and my friend Janelle Monae, the singer, being refused entry, but that wasn't the case at all," Hamilton wrote in his column for BBC Sport.
"We were just at the wrong door, so we had to go around the back, where we saw Stella. She's a big racing fan and I'm a big admirer of her work, so I spent some time with her, and also with her husband Alasdhair Willis, whose clothes I buy a lot of. It was good to see them again."
Hamilton is currently with Mercedes in Sochi preparing for Sunday's Russian Grand Prix.
