Newcastle United midfielder Cheick Tiote has reportedly denied fraud in relation to driving offences in court today.
The 27-year-old, who was stopped by police in February this year, has been accused of using a fake Belgian driving licence in order to obtain a licence in the UK.
The Ivorian has also been charged with fraud by false representation and making a false statement to gain insurance in September 2011, according to BBC News.
Tiote has been granted bail and ordered to attend trial at Newcastle Crown Court on October 28.
