Disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong was reportedly warned against dating American actress-turned-fashion designer Ashley Olsen back in 2007.
A new book titled Cycle of Lies: The Fall of Lance Armstrong by New York Times writer Juliet Macur is said to have lifted the lid on the relationship, which was never confirmed by either party.
The 42-year-old, who was stripped of his seven Tour de France titles in 2012 after admitting to years of doping, is said to have been approached by friend and head of Livestrong Foundation John Korioth, who "warned the 36-year-old father of three that his May-December romance could damage his cancer work".
According to E! Online, Macur writes that Korioth told Armstrong, "whoa, dude, bad idea. You've got to put a stop to this right now," to which Armstrong is believed to have replied: "She's 21 - fuck you."
Olsen is 15 years Armstrong's junior.
