Retired footballer David Beckham has been carrying out his duties as Jaguar ambassador by unveiling the new model in China.

The 38-year-old was named as the face of the car manufacturers in March.

Part of the ex-Manchester United star's role required him to unveil the new Jaguar F-Type Coupe at the 13th Beijing International Automotive Exhibition on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Beckham, who celebrated his wife Victoria's 40th birthday in Los Angeles just 24 hours earlier, is facing stadium issues for his MLS franchise in Miami.

Shipping businesses and a billionaire car dealer are opposing Beckham's plans to build a football ground at PortMiami.
