Prosecutors will be given a second chance to press for a murder charge against Oscar Pistorius on Tuesday, November 3.
The double-amputee athlete is currently serving a five-year prison sentence for the manslaughter of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp on Valentine's Day in 2013.
However, Steenkamp's family and the prosecutors have remained insistent that the six-time Paralympic champion should have been found guilty of murdering the 29-year-old.
The new case will be heard at South Africa's Supreme Court of Appeal, where a panel of five judges will make a ruling.
The Supreme Court can find Pistorius guilty of murder, order a retrial or decide that Judge Thokozile Masipa was correct with her initial verdict.
