EA Sports have confirmed that their business relationship with world number one golfer Tiger Woods has come to an end.
The company has been alongside the 14-time Major winner for the last 15 years of the 'Tiger Woods PGA Tour' computer game series, but have not renewed a fresh contract.
"We had an incredible run," Woods's agent Mark Steinberg told ESPN.
"Outside of [John] Madden, you would be hard pressed to find a sports figure that meant as much to a video game company as Tiger meant to EA.
"But times are changing and EA had to re-evaluate the partnership and frankly so did we."
Tracking company NPD Group is said to have revealed that the game franchise sold £479m.
