Former NFL player Hank Baskett has claimed that he 'froze' when a transgender model fondled him during a surprise encounter a year ago.
The 32-year-old's marriage to former Playboy model Kendra Wilkinson was rocked when allegations emerged that he had had a sexual encounter with model Ava Masaniai, who was born Paul.
Baskett was alleged to have paid Masaniai $2,500 (£1,600) over two meetings between April 22 and the birth of his second child, daughter Alijah, in May last year.
However, the retired sportsman has denied 'mutually masturbating' with the model and has told People magazine that he "didn't engage in anything" when she fondled him through his basketball shorts.
Baskett has claimed that he was told by two people smoking marijuana in a car park where he could buy some pot but upon arriving at the address encountered three transgender women.
"I messed up," Baskett said in the interview. "I put myself in a bad situation, and everything through me brought pain upon this family.
"It was like a bank robbery. You never know when you'll freeze. I don't know if it was a couple of seconds or 15 seconds, because all I was saying was get out, get out, get out.
"I was this big former football player. I was the alpha male. I could do anything to protect my family but I couldn't protect myself."
Baskett and his wife are also parents to five-year-old son Hank IV.
