Tyson Fury's father could reportedly be given day-release from prison in order to watch his son take on David Haye in the ring on September 28.
John Fury, who is reportedly waiting to be given official permission, is believed to be currently behind bars on an 11-year sentence for gouging out the eye of a man during a fight at a car auction.
"It will be great to have me dad back with me," the Daily Mail quotes Fury as saying. "I speak to him almost every day on the phone. I visit him regularly."
The 49-year-old, who is eligible for early release in 2015 after serving four years, will have to return to prison just after midnight if he is granted permission to attend the fight.
