Malaysian football club Johor Darul Ta'zim have reportedly sacked goalkeeper Mohd Anis Faron Ahmad for swearing at a police officer.
The 33-year-old is believed to have launched the expletive at the officer following a loss in the second-tier Premier League in Penang.
Johor president Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim told local media: "There is no use for us to keep a football player that failed to display discipline as a professional player."
According to reports, Ahmad was charged by a court this week and could be handed a five-year prison sentence or a fine if found guilty.
