FIFA has announced that British singer Leona Lewis will perform at the Ballon d'Or ceremony in Zurich on January 11.
The 30-year-old, who shot to fame after winning the third series of The X Factor in 2006, is one of two acts due to grace the stage as Croatian cellist duo 2CELLOS have also been booked.
Lewis, who has released numerous hits such as 'Bleeding Love', has her name in the history books as she became the first British female solo artist to debut at number one in the US Billboard Album Chart.
During the Ballon d'Or ceremony, FIFA will give out numerous awards, including Women's Player of the Year, Men's and Women's World Coach of the Year, the FIFA Puskas Award and the FIFA Fair Play Award.
The main attraction, though, will be when either Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo or Neymar is crowned the world's best footballer.
Sky Sports presenter Kate Abdo and Irish actor James Nesbitt will host the ceremony.
