World number three Adrian Lewis has revealed that he is looking forward to having a new shirt designed for him for this year's Grand Slam of Darts in November.

The two-time world champion is running a 'One Hundred and Arty' competition for children aged between 11 and 16 to come up with a creative design as he attempts to win the tournament, which is held at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall, for the first time in his career.

The 29-year-old said: "I'm looking forward to leaving the fate of my new shirt in the hands of budding designers. I know how creative kids can be so this competition provides me with the opportunity to get a shirt that is different and memorable.

"I can't wait to go through the entries, I'm looking for the design to be related to darts and I want it to really stand out - hopefully the new shirt will bring me a little bit of luck in my tournaments too!"

The Stoke-on-Trent thrower's best performance of 2014 saw him win the UK Open in March.
