The murder trial of Paralympic athlete Oscar Pistorius has adjourned for Easter after hearing evidence from the defence's forensic expert this morning.
Roger Dixon continued to give details about the night that the South African fatally shot girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, but prosecutor Gerrie Nel branded his testimony as "irresponsible".
The trial, which began in Pretoria in March, will now be put on hold until May 5 after the prosecution requested an extended break.
Pistorius denies murdering Steenkamp, maintaining that he mistook the model for an intruder.
