Judge Thokozile Masipa has announced that she will deliver a final verdict on the murder trial of Oscar Pistorius on September 11.
Pistorius is accused of murdering his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp at their home in South Africa on Valentine's Day last year, with the Paralympic champion insisting that he had mistaken her for an intruder.
However, prosecutor Gerrie Nel argues that Pistorius killed Steenkamp after the couple had a row in the early hours of the morning.
After a trial that has continued for over a year, both the prosecution and the defence delivered their closing arguments this week ahead of a final verdict, which it has now been revealed will take place next month.
