A television advertisement campaign featuring Paralympic champion Oscar Pistorius has reportedly been pulled off the air following his murder charge.
The 26-year-old was formally charged today with shooting his 29-year-old girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp four times in the head and the upper body at his home in Pretoria, South Africa in the early hours of yesterday morning.
It is understood that South African TV station M-Net has opted to drop ads featuring Pistorius that promote this month's Oscars awards ceremony, according to the Daily Star.
Pistorius will remain in custody at a police station over the weekend as his defence lawyers plan to make an application for bail next Tuesday.
