UFC fighter Jon Jones denies that he is a cocaine addict, despite going to rehab after failing an out-of-competition drugs test.

UFC fighter Jon Jones has insisted that he is not a cocaine addict, despite checking himself into rehab earlier this month.

The 27-year-old booked into the facility shortly after defending his light-heavyweight title by beating Daniel Cormier.

Jones, who has admitted that he made a "really dumb decision", failed an out-of-competition drugs test on December 4.

According to TMZ, in an interview with Fox Sports 1, Jones said: "I think a coward would sit here and try to come up with this elaborate reason or try to blame something. I'm not gonna do that.

"I'm not gonna blame my friends. I'm not gonna blame pressure or stress. I'm not gonna blame anything, but what I will say is that I messed up."

The sportsman's mother reportedly revealed that her son left the facility after one night.
