Sir Bradley Wiggins reportedly supports a campaign to allow terminally ill people to use unlicensed drugs.

Tour de France winner Sir Bradley Wiggins has reportedly given his backing to a campaign trying to allow terminally ill people to use unlicensed drugs.

The 33-year-old, who won gold at the London 2012 Olympics, is thought to have been inspired by rugby star Andy Johnson's son Jack, who suffers from Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

"How do you deal with something like that happening to your child?" the Daily Star quotes Wiggins as saying. "You'd move heaven and earth to find a treatment."

Reports have claimed that Wiggins is supporting the Empower campaign, which aims to allow volunteers to test drugs.
