Paris Saint-Germain's David Luiz has revealed that he will not have sex until he is married following his recent baptism.

The 28-year-old Brazilian was baptised into the Pentecostal Hillsong Church last week in the swimming pool of club teammate Maxwell.

Luiz has now vowed to keep his virginity until he exchanges wedding vows with girlfriend Sara Madeira.

"I have chosen to wait," The Mirror quotes Luiz as saying.

Luiz is following in the footsteps of fellow countryman Kaka, who didn't have sex until he married Caroline Celico in 2005 when he was 23 years old.
