Spanish sprinter Angel David Rodriguez challenges Real Madrid maestro Cristiano Ronaldo to a 100m race.

Spanish sprinter Angel David Rodriguez has called on Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo to take him on in a 100m race.

The Spaniard came up with the suggestion on Twitter when the former Manchester United winger sprinted 96m in 10 seconds during Real's 2-0 win over Atletico Madrid last Saturday.

Rodriguez tweeted saying that he would race Ronaldo "with or without spikes, tarmac or grass."

Meanwhile, the Portugal international has been nominated for the prestigious Ballon d'Or trophy.
