Cristiano Ronaldo has launched his new underwear range by having an image of him wearing the new designs projected onto buildings and landmarks in seven different cities.

The new collection is the second underwear range that the Real Madrid forward has launched as part of his CR7 brand.

"I am really proud of my second CR7 Underwear collection and wanted to launch it in a way that was personal to me, and to have some fun with it," the Daily Mail quotes to Portugal international as saying.

"The number seven has always been close to my heart, so I was honoured to unveil my new collection in seven cities around the globe.

"It was a pleasure to collaborate with [photographer] Rankin and incredible to see the images released in this unique way."

Last week, Ronaldo released the designs for his new footwear collection, which goes on sale next year.
