Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo has been given the Overseas Sports Personality of the Year award by the BBC.
Ronaldo was presented with the accolade by teammate Gareth Bale for his performances throughout the calendar year, and the ex-Manchester United man said that it was an "honour" to have been chosen.
The Portugal international said: "Thank you BBC for the award, it was an honour to be chosen. Thank you to all my fans who voted for me."
Ronaldo moved to Los Blancos for a fee of £80m back in 2009.
