Real Madrid frontman Cristiano Ronaldo allegedly refused to swap shirts with Girona midfielder Alex Granell in the wake of their shock 2-1 defeat in Catalonia over the weekend.
Isco had handed Los Blancos an early lead in the historic contest on Sunday afternoon, only for the hosts to strike back with two goals in the space of five second-half minutes for an unlikely win against the defending La Liga champions.
The result left Madrid eight points off the pace in the standings and following the final whistle, Ronaldo is said to have expressed his frustrations to Granell.
"He said to me that he didn't want to [swap shirts] because he hadn't like how we had managed the final minutes of the game," the 29-year-old recalled to reporters.
"He told me I seemed like a good player, but that he wouldn't change shirts with me.
"I said to Ronaldo that what we had achieved was not a miracle, but it was a huge feat. We had the experience from other years when we've played a little bit too correct."
The three points moved up newly-promoted Girona - sister club to Manchester City - to 13th in the La Liga table.
