The portal set up by UEFA specifically for Republic of Ireland supporters will close at midnight on Wednesday, the Football Association of Ireland has confirmed.
Several thousand extra tickets were released by UEFA for Irish fans who missed out in the initial ballot earlier this month and will be allocated through the Ticket Appeals Portal based on previous attendance records.
In a statement, the FAI said: "The FAI has made it a priority to free up more tickets for supporters and will remain in contact with UEFA over the coming days and weeks to secure as many tickets as possible for Ireland supporters."
The FAI also revealed that it is holding a further 2,000 tickets in reserve and will distribute them to the most deserving fans who are still without tickets through the appeals portal.
