Clint Dempsey traded a young fan his Seattle Sounders jersey in return for some of the child's popcorn.
Dempsey had just played 89 minutes of his team's 2-0 victory against Houston Dynamo when the USA international walked over to the sideline and after a few exchanges, took some of the child's popcorn.
The act was laughed at by nearby supporters but the laughter turned to shock as Dempsey gifted his shirt to the young fan which was greeted with smiles and cheers.
