Norwich City striker Grant Holt and Tottenham Hotspur defender Kyle Walker have both returned to Twitter.
Use of the social network has attracted much criticism from football bosses for the lack of privacy, while charges have followed from misuse of the site.
Walker tweeted: "Morning - Thanks for all your support on my twitter break I've read it and glad to be back on Twitter - getting ready for the weekend#COYS".
Meanwhile, Norwich defender Elliot Bennett revealed that Holt has returned, saying: "Big news for all you football fans. The skipper @grantholt31 is now back on twitter by popular demand! He wishes. Welcome back mate".
Rio Ferdinand and Phil Neville are keen users of the social networking tool.
