A video has emerged appearing to show NRL star Mitchell Pearce simulating a sex act on a dog while at a house party on Australia Day.
The footage, which was aired by the Nine Network's A Current Affair on Wednesday evening, appears to show the Sydney Roosters player performing the lewd act after trying to kiss a woman.
Pearce, who was suspended in the past for an incident at a nightclub, has also been accused of urinating on himself and some furniture after the woman turned down his advances.
After the video came to light, Pearce's club issued a statement, which read: "The Sydney Roosters are aware of an incident involving Mitchell Pearce. The club has advised the NRL's Integrity Unit. The club will conduct an internal investigation and will be making no further comment at this time."
On the day that the video was allegedly taken, Pearce had earlier posted a picture on Instagram showing himself and his teammates on the Sydney harbour.
