Olympic gymnast Louis Smith has rubbished rumours that he and girlfriend Lucy Mecklenburgh are engaged.
The 26-year-old and the former The Only Way Is Essex TV personality have been in a relationship for six months after meeting on BBC One reality show Tumble.
During an appearance on ITV's Loose Women, Smith was quizzed about engagement rumours, but the sportsman insisted that he has not proposed marriage.
"I'm sorry but we're not," said Smith. "I woke up and googled that and it said that we're engaged. I'm sorry to disappoint you Lucy but we're not getting engaged yet."
Smith returned to major competition at the Commonwealth Games last year after winning Olympic silver and bronze at London 2012.
