Disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong plays the drums for a band during the Austin Reggae Festival.

Disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong tried to move away from his doping past by playing the drums for a band at the Austin Reggae Festival.

The 41-year-old Texan, who was stripped of his seven record Tour de France titles and given a lifetime ban from cycling following evidence of doping, performed with local band Lance Herbstrong.

During his time on stage, the band played four songs, one being a cover of Musical Youth's 1982 tune 'Pass the Dutchie', according to the New York Daily News.
