Global popstar Rihanna managed to silence Floyd Mayweather Jr at the BET Awards at the weekend by covering the boxer's mouth with duct tape.
The pound-for-pound king was seated next to the 27-year-old singer at the event, which celebrates African American figures and other minorities from the world of music, film, sport and entertainment, in Los Angeles.
At one point during the awards bash, the camera turned to show Rihanna placing tape over Mayweather's mouth to stop the sportsman from speaking.
The 38-year-old, who also took part in a basketball game at the reunion for rap group N.W.A over the weekend, was earlier this month named by Forbes as the world's highest-paid athlete after scooping £194m within the last 12 months.
