Wales star Sam Warburton has reportedly received a £2,500 bid for his boots from BBC newsreader Huw Edwards.
According to the Daily Mail, the Welshman launched the bid on Warburton's online auction for the boots he wore when he captained his side to a Six Nations victory over England on Sunday.
The journalist tweeted the 24-year-old saying: "Really need to concentrate on work... getting very odd looks from the Newsroom colleagues... so £2,500 see where it goes."
The highest bid moved to £3,000 this morning, with proceeds going to the patients at the Velindre Cancer Centre in Cardiff.
