Wales retain the Six Nations title with a 30-3 demolition of England at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.

Wales have retained the Six Nations title in style, thrashing England 30-3 at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff in front of more than 74,000 supporters.

Stuart Lancaster's side found themselves 6-0 down within the opening 20 minutes, and they had only their own indiscipline to blame.

Leigh Halfpenny converted a pair of early penalties to ensure that the Welsh were quickest off the starting blocks, but Owen Farrell converted at the other end in the 21st minute to make it 6-3.

Wales restored their six-point lead in the 26th minute when Halfpenny booted home his third penalty of the evening to make it 9-3 at the interval.

Halfpenny extended the Welsh's advantage with another penalty shortly after the restart, before Alex Cuthbert scored the first try of the afternoon, swerving past Mike Brown and outpacing Farrell to make it 17-3.

Dan Biggar added a drop goal to extend his country's advantage to 17 points, before Cuthbert hammered the final nail into England's coffin with his second try of the afternoon in the 66th minute.

Halfpenny thumped home the conversion and Biggar added another penalty with less than 10 minutes remaining to dump more misery on the English.
