Pop group Blondie have revealed they turned down the opportunity to perform at the Sochi Olympics because of Russia's controversial human rights laws.
The grouped posted the invitation letter on their official Blondie and Debbie Harry twitter page with the words 'PASS, HUMAN RIGHTS" written across it.
The hash tags "#pass4humanrights" and "#Sochi2014" accompanied the picture.
Several other celebrities, including Cher, Madonna and Lady Gaga, have all spoken out about Russia's controversial anti-gay laws.
