Jockey Daryl Jacob has been thrown off Port Melon ahead of the Albert Bartlett Novices' Chase at the Cheltenham Festival.
Jacob was heading to the start line ahead of the third race of the day when his horse got agitated and bolted through the guard rail, throwing the jockey to the concrete floor.
The Irishman received over 10 minutes of assistance before being stretchered away to have further treatment at a medical facility.
According to Channel 4, Jacob said that he had a "very sore leg, but he was fine".
The incident follows an injury to Ruby Walsh, who is reported to have suffered a broken arm during the Triumph Hurdle earlier on Friday.
