Legendary jockey AP McCoy has been revealed as the winner of the 2015 BBC Sports Personality of the Year Lifetime Achievement award.
The 41-year-old received the honour during the awards show in Belfast this evening, with fellow Northern Irishman Rory McIlroy presenting the prestigious prize.
McCoy, widely regarded as the best jockey of all time, retired in April this year following a glittering career that saw him ride more than 4,000 winners and be named champion jockey an astonishing 20 times in a row.
His greatest year came in the 2001-02 season, when he rode an unprecedented 289 winners.
