Female jockey Kirsty Milczarek has been found guilty of corruption by the British Horseracing Association.
The 26-year-old had earlier been charged for "intentionally failing to ensure that a horse ran on its merits" in races between January 2009 and August 2009.
The BHA have yet to pass comment on the case, but Milczarek told At The Races: "I'm appealing. My solicitors have a press release which you will see later.
"I've spoken to my solicitor a couple of times and we are going for an appeal and hopefully it will come my way because it's my job and I love doing what I'm doing.
"There's just a few issues and I was found guilty on one particular thing but it wasn't a ride which I'm quite relived about."
Milczarek has had her best year in terms of victories in 2011.
